About Me
I am a loving family member and friend, as well as a hardworking student and competitive Irish dancer. I compete at a World Irish Dance level both individually in a solo competition and as part of a team. Academically, I am a driven member of the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) and three National Honor Societies, including National Honor Society, National Italian Honor Society, and National Art Honor Society. Additionally, I am active within my high school community, a member of campus organizations such as Mission Outreach, Gaelic Society, Italian Club, Scrubs Club, and P.A.W.S. Club. I am also a part-time student Irish dance teacher, as well as a part-time babysitter outside of school. However, my rigorous schedule is what me make unique. I volunteer weekly at the Aisling Community Irish Center in Yonkers, NY, where I make, prepare, and deliver food to the homeless in New York City. I'm also a peer tutor for underclassmen struggling in mathematics courses in my high school. Last, I give back to my Irish dance school community by teaching classes and private lessons to the younger students. I also help prepare their nerves and emotions leading up to competition day. My ability to balance the workload of school, dance, family, and extracurricular activities, yet still devote my energy and dedication to my commitments are among my significant qualities.
