Community Service

In my free time, I enjoy contributing to my community and surrounding areas by getting involved in extracurricular clubs and spreading happiness through performing Irish dance for others. I volunteer at the Aisling Community Irish Center in Yonkers, NY once a week to prepare food to be delivered to the homeless in New York City. I also volunteer at my Irish dance school weekly helping the younger students to prepare for upcoming competitions. I've also participated in various parades and events in my community as part of my cultural heritage. I performed for the City Council of Yonkers at numerous events and received accolades for doing so. As part of my high school community, I have participated in multiple club events such as Thanksgiving food drive, "Box City" (temporary cardboard street residences) , and collecting food for the local animal shelter. I enjoy giving back to my community and these are the qualities that I will someday emulate wherever life takes me.
